KineDok presents: Palace for the People online screening + discussion
Join us for a KineDok screening of the film Palace for the People on January 31, followed by a discussion about brutalist architecture on February 1!
The film Palace for the People by Bulgarian duo Missirkov - Bogdanov lls the stories of the four most iconic buildings of the socialist era. In allowing us to discover the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Moscow State University, the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest and the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade the film bears witness to the historical turbulence that marked Eastern Europe in the second half of the 20th century.
The film will be streamed on January 31 at 7 pm (GMT+1) in KineDok countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Romania.
