A pair of short student films focus on the mysteries of women‘s worlds. 

Mothers and daughters is a short documentary film about a family of 3 women and a girl, who live together in a small village in the north part of Slovakia, without any men. Their lives took some complicated turns and at some point they ended up living on their own, widowed or divorced. The film portraits an everyday life of these four women, all mothers and daughters, who know each other very well, love each other, but in a way maybe even hate each other. Not only their personal characteristics, but also their live paths are very similar, which brings up a question whether the destiny could be also inherited after our parents. That might be also a question for the youngest of them all, a 9 year-old girl named Natálka - will she follow her mother's, grandmother's and great-grandmother's steps in the future or will she be able to escape it?

New World is a drama about a lonely woman living in a desolated house limited by her own psychological disorder. Her belongings are being stripped away as is her hope for returning to the normal everyday life. The only people that connect her to the outer world are her former friend Laco, who tries to befriend her again and her cousin. Do they really care about Anna or do they just lust for her wealth? What is going to happen to Anna and to her crumbling house?
