The documentary So Far, So Near deals with ordinary life situations in families with autistic children revealing the everyday difficulties of life with them. It’s not, however, based on testimony or dialogues, but on specific, authentic situations whose combination creates the story itself in a feature-length film. The film was created as a coproduction with the non-profit organization Andreas, which is devoted to assistance in diagnosing and dealing with the problems of autism. It is the only one of its kind in Slovakia.
