Na Dušičky, 2. listopadu, uvedeme dokumentární film Smrti smrt současně na pěti projekčních místech napříč Českou republikou, včetně Y:time café v Plzni.
Hlavním dějištěm bude Purkrabství na pražském Vyšehradě, kde po projekci proběhne moderovaná debata s producentem filmu Radimem Procházkou a vědcem Janem Pačesem. Moderátorkou večera bude Zuzana Burešová z Českého rozhlasu.
Záznam debaty zveřejníme 3. listopadu na YouTube kanálu Institutu dokumentárního filmu; dostupný bude zdarma veřejnosti.

Death of Death
The essayistic documentary by director Dāvis Sīmanis explores not only the contemporary “market for eternal life” but also humanity’s deep-seated desire to transcend mortality. The film raises the question of whether the pursuit of immortality represents a real step toward human liberation or simply another way to cope with the inevitability of death.
