Trailer
Change My Mind is a documentary road‑movie by Robin Kvapil, that explores the psychology of those who doubt mainstream accounts of the war in Ukraine. Through an open casting, three individuals, who believe the war is exaggerated, that media lies, or that “special military operations” are misrepresented, are selected. They are taken from relatively safe Czechia to Charkov and the Donbas region, where they witness rocket strikes, mass graves, children attending classes underground in metro stations, dialogues with survivors, wounded soldiers, and bereaved families. While exposed to undeniable horrors, their core convictions resist easy change - making the film less a narrative of conversion and more an unsettling portrait of denial, identity, and the limits of evidence. It raises pressing questions: What do we believe when confronted with fact? How do narratives shape our fears, loyalties, and sense of truth?
