Trailer
Dajori is an observational documentary capturing three years in the life of the Huček family, a Romani household in northern Bohemia. When Marie takes in two of her sister’s children—two-year-old Anabel and nine-year-old Samuel—she hopes to offer them a stable home. As she juggles raising both her own and foster children, Marie faces daily struggles that go beyond parenting and reflect the broader failures of social systems. Thanks to the directors’ close bond with the family, the film offers rare, intimate access to moments of joy, tension, and quiet resilience in a world too quick to judge. A powerful portrait beyond the stereotypes.
