Behind every bankrupt company can lie hundreds of different human stories. A critical look at the everyday consequences of political corruption and also an elegy for the factory that until recently represented a significant part of its employees' lives.

Željko is a charismatic leader of the railway unions, who leads a fierce — and increasingly hopeless — battle for the survival of a bankrupt railway company. The bankruptcy appears to be a staged farce orchestrated by higher political interests. The Croatian documentary by director Goran Dević maps out ten years of struggle for justice, which was probably lost from the beginning, depicting helplessness against an impersonal political and corporate apparatus that sees employees merely as lifeless pawns on a chessboard.
