Here are a few photos that try to capture the atmosphere of Friday night. We had a record turnout of 46 people watching a movie together in the garden of Guri Serház in Monor. Thank you for spending your Friday evening with us — it was also a great opportunity to catch up with our friends! And a special thanks to Zsuzsanna Ács and László Csáki, the filmmakers, for sharing their thoughtful insights and behind-the-scenes stories! 🩵🐦🩵

Here it is! The distribution platform for a creative documentary films, KineDok, is launching its 11th season, presenting a curated selection of some of the most remarkable films from the Czechia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. Screening venues across these countries will offer audiences not only a diverse range of the most pressing contemporary social topics, but also films that have resonated with critics and captivated festival audiences alike. “I am very happy to see a significant increase this year not only in the number of screening venues, but also in the number of screenings themselves. Having only recently stepped into the role of KineDok manager, I deeply appreciate the strong and high-quality programme put together by the previous team. I am glad that we can bring films into non-cinema spaces: films that inspire through their energy and openness while offering new perspectives on the world around us,” said the new KineDok manager, Juliana Moska. To open this year’s season, KineDok invites audiences to a special evening that combines a cinematic experience with the personal presence of director Peter Kerekes. The programme begins at 6:00 PM at Theatre Vila Štvanice with an accompanying programme and light refreshments, followed at 7:00 PM by the screening of a film that premiered at the Venice International Film Festival.
