BalCan CrossOver night festival / Kino Přítomnost

Projekt BalCan CrossOver přináší do pražského Kina Přítomnost filmovou kulturu zemí západního Balkánu. Po šesti ročnících festivalu pokračuje pravidelnými filmovými projekcemi, které propojuje s prezentací dalších zajímavých děl a tvůrců současné balkánské kultury. Vedle filmových projekcí nabízí také hudbu, videoklipy s českými titulky, ukázky z překladů současných textů nebo diskuse se zajímavými hosty. Každý večer má svůj vlastní charakter a cílem projektu je především přiblížit českému publiku zajímavou nemainstreamovou kulturu tohoto regionu. The BalCan CrossOver project brings the culture of the Western Balkans to Kino Přítomnost. Following six editions of the festival, the project continues with regular film screenings combined with presentations of other inspiring works and artists from the contemporary Balkan cultural scene. Alongside film screenings, the programme also features music, music videos with Czech subtitles, excerpts from translations of contemporary texts, and discussions with interesting guests. Each evening has its own unique character, with the main aim of introducing Czech audiences to compelling non-mainstream culture from the region. The evenings also usually include some refreshments and, of course, quality rakija. Dobro došli!
