The basic mission of the public library is to provide library and information services to all without restrictions (equal access). The library provides the general public with access to knowledge, cultural products and creations of human creativity from the present and historical periods. This wealth is presented through lectures, exhibitions, meetings with authors, creative workshops, etc. Its activities are aimed at all age, cultural and social groups, with a special emphasis on children and young people. One of the main roles of a modern library is to fulfil its community function - the library is a meeting place for the above-mentioned groups of the population, and it fulfils this function by developing targeted community activities. The core activity of the library is to provide lifelong learning for the population.
