EMPEROR is an interactive narrative VR experience that invites the viewer into an artistic interpretation of the inner world of a father living with aphasia. Together with his daughter, we move through a symbolically rendered environment – a hand-drawn monochromatic landscape – that reflects his subjective experience of the condition. The project is a creative interpretation of the experience of aphasia, rather than a clinical representation of it.
