Juliana graduated from the Documentary Film Department at FAMU and spent part of her life in Poland, where she studied fiction directing at the Film School in Łódź. She is the author of several short films. Walter holds a degree from the Theatre Faculty of VŠMU in Bratislava, and has long been dedicated to documentary theatre and the principles of documentary in the performing arts. He has published regularly in professional journals, co-authored several books on theatre history, and has been collaborating with the Institute of Documentary Film since 2008.

As we welcome new faces, we also say goodbye to Ivana Formanová and Eliška Hoskovcová. We thank them for their long-term and invaluable work for KineDok – their legacy is a solid foundation on which the new team will continue to build.

You may have already met both new team members at East Doc Platform 2026 in Prague. They are currently hard at work preparing a new catalogue, which we will release on May 1st – and shortly after, as is tradition, we will kick off the new season with a special screening. We can't wait!
