Palatul Culturii in Bistrița has been a central hub for cultural events since the late 19th century. Originally built by the Saxon craftsmen’s association, Gewerbeverein, Palatul Culturii has hosted everything from theater and music performances to festivals and book launches. Today, it continues to serve the community, supporting projects at its headquarters, Casa cu Lei, the Documentation Center, Arcade 24 Galleries, the Multicultural Center at the Bistrița Synagogue, the Union Cultural House, and cultural houses in nearby villages.
