The International Day of Women and Girls in Science: Danuše Kvasničková and Picture a Scientist: 17:00 - Discussion with Danuše Kvasničková, a native of Boleslav and an expert of European importance, focused on the topic of women in science. The soon to be ninety-year-old ecologist, author of many textbooks and scripts, winner of the UNEP Global 500 international award and the Minister of the Environment Award will reflect on her life journey (with) science. The discussion is moderated by future scientists, graduates of the Dr. Josef Pekar Gymnasium and current students of Masaryk and Charles Universities Věra Bočková and Bea Filipi. 18:30 - Screening of the American documentary Picture a Scientist from 2020, in English with Czech subtitles, 95 min.
